10 Yard Enclosed Skip Hire
Our 10 yard Skips are great if you have substantial amounts of waste to clear. They are diverse for an array of domestic and commercial projects. They provide enough space for larger home projects as well as building and commercial jobs. They are very popular for office clear-outs and shop fittings as they are perfect for large bulky items that are not too heavy. They are not suitable to be filled with heavy materials like mud or hardcore due to weight restrictions on our lorries.
The largest skip for heavy materials is the 8 yard skip.
Most skips rented in the UK are open skips, which can often result in unwanted waste being added to your skip as well as having items stolen. When you hire a skip, you are responsible for everything that is placed inside. Enclosed skips are ideal for situations where you need to prevent others from unlawfully placing waste in your skip. The access doors provide loops for locking and contents are also protected from the elements.
Lockable skips can be useful in both domestic and commercial rubbish disposal jobs. Being enclosed, lockable skips are also far more weatherproof, which can be useful for waste that you need to keep dry, such as plasterboard.
The dimensions of the 10 yard Enclosed skips are 10ft 8.2in long, 5ft 7in wide, 5ft 7in high. They are slightly larger than a traditional “builders skip”. They are able to hold approximately 100 bin bags of rubbish.

Please Note: Rubble, Hardcore, Soil and Mud cannot be placed within skips over 10 yards in size.

Do I need a permit for 10 Yard Enclosed Skip?
8 yard and larger skips can not be placed on public roads or paths. So you must have private property these skips will fit on as there is no option for these to be placed on a road or other public location.
