At Clearaway Recycling, we are always looking for ways to improve how we handle the waste that comes through our doors. Our latest step is a new Lindner Jupiter shredder. In the video below, our Director explains why we chose to invest in it, what it means for our waste processing, and how it helps us keep improving what we do.

THE CHALLENGE
Every day, a large amount of mixed waste arrives at our site from homes, businesses and building sites across Essex. The more waste we handle, the more important it is to process it quickly and properly. We want to recover as much as we can from every load, so less waste goes to landfill. To keep doing that as we grow, we needed machinery that could keep up.
OUR APPROACH
We invested in the Lindner Jupiter shredder to make our waste processing more efficient. Shredding the waste breaks it down into smaller pieces, which makes it easier to sort. That helps us pull out more of the materials that can be recovered and used again. Investing in the right machinery is a big part of our continued growth, and this shredder is another step forward for our site.

THE RESULTS
