Our Recycling Centre

At Clearaway Recycling, we are dedicated to treating all waste in the most productive way possible. We continually invest in modern technology to recover and recycle as much material as we can. Our advanced recycling centre has the capacity to process over 200,000 tonnes of waste annually. We are committed to re-using, recycling, or recovering 100% of the materials we receive, playing our part in protecting the environment.

Clearaway receives non-hazardous waste via our own fleet of small and large skip trucks, as well as directly from other local businesses and skip hire firms looking to benefit from our cutting-edge processing technology. Whether you need skip hire in Essex for a home clearout or commercial skip hire for a building project, all waste collected comes to our facility for responsible processing. Upon arrival, all vehicles are weighed and loads are thoroughly checked before acceptance.

Once verified and tipped, the waste is put through a large shredder, breaking everything down into pieces no larger than 450mm. This makes it easier for our skilled picking staff to identify and separate materials. Larger items are targeted for recycling, while smaller items move on to the mechanical sorting phase.
