PROJECT OVERVIEW
Adventure Island is one of the best-known attractions in Southend-on-Sea. It sits right on the seafront, and every year it welcomes lots of families looking for a fun day out. Clearaway was asked to provide skips for Adventure Island, to help keep the site clean and tidy. And with the sun shining on the day, it was a great job to be part of.
THE CHALLENGE
A busy attraction like Adventure Island needs somewhere for its waste to go. Rubbish has to be dealt with properly so the park stays safe, clean and looking its best for visitors. Because the park is on a busy seafront, the skips needed to be delivered at the right time and placed where they would work well for the team on site.
OUR APPROACH
Our team delivered the skips to Adventure Island, ready for the waste to be loaded. Once the skips are full, we collect them and bring the waste back to our recycling centre in Basildon. There it is sorted, and as much as possible is recycled instead of being sent to landfill. That means local businesses can rely on us to deal with their waste the right way, from delivery right through to recycling.
THE RESULTS
Adventure Island had the skips it needed to keep the site clean and tidy. There’s no better feeling than seeing our skips out and about, helping to keep our local community looking its best. We’re always happy to support local businesses and attractions, and we’re proud to play our part in keeping Southend clean.
